I bought a palm centro from sprint about a month ago and i realized that i can't run any java applications on it such as opera mini. Is there a place were i can get java for my phone for free?
No, sorry. A phone either has or lacks java support. Its not a program you can just add.
Hi. I have been having problems with Facebook recently. I get a 'Done, but with errors on page' message at the bottom left of the screen. When I am on I cannot compose messages, see my contacts, invite people or post on my friend's walls.
I have cleared browsing history, downloaded IE7 and Firefox 2.0, reset my browser settings, formatted my hard-drive and re-installed windows. I even tried on a different PC and I had the same problem. It works on my HTC Touch (Using Opera Mini ) though...
I e-mailed Facebook help and they say it is not a problem on their side and that I should use a different computer (which I told them I already had done).
My friends do not seem to be having problems so is there something I am missing?

You formatted AND reinstalled windows just to use facebook? Crazy man....but anyways I think it might be a problem with your ISP (internet service provider).

I really have no idea how to help you with that because that never happened to mine. Perhaps you should try to delete your account and make a new one.
Mine is doing the same. I can get onto my profile, but then it says "done but with errors on page" at the bottom. I can see people's photos and leave comments on them, but not write on anyone's wall or message them and cant confirm or reject any invites etc. It's really annoying me!
I know about Opera Mini and programs like that, but I can't install any programs on my type of phone. So I'm looking for something that's better than what I'm currently using (going to google.com and searching for pages... google does do a coversion for mobile phones... but it isn't so terribly great. Looking for something that converts pages as well as http://www.dgm8.com/ does.
Actually, mobile websites are designed for mobile users by the sites hosting them. Google mobile is a mobile port of their regular website. Same with that dgm8.com website you're talking about. That website was created for mobile phones. It was created and/or converted by the designers.
YOU can use this tool at google to convert some pages for you, but it's not going to be the same as it being designed for mobile.

I want to see the standard yahoo on my mobile phone. Yahoo doesn't have a classic/mobile switch like Google and Opera Mini doesn't work either. Whatever yahoo did to force this horrid mobile interface on us seems unbreakable. Can anyone help? I'm running the HTC Touch

I've installed the java based mobile IM's EQO and Mig33, but they don't work, and give a can't connect error. So does Opera mini. How do I set up my phone to work with these? I know I CAN use them, because MediaNet works, and I CAN use messaging and data, I just don't have a plan for them. Since I don't have a phone from cingular, it doesn't come with the software to IM. Now that I've installed the software...why won't it work?

depends on the establishment ure in.... e.g in our school they offor free wi fi for now but they plan on selling cards in the future so we can use the wifi..some establishments like cafes or restaurants offer free wi fi services some require payment. after paying, they usually give u the pass key so u can connect to the service.
ure provider wont come in the scenario...it is the provider of the wifi hotspot thats impt.
